Saudi Arabia has announced another ambitious project through Neom: a luxury marina for superyachts named Jaumur. This new marina, designed to accommodate 300 superyachts up to 492 feet long, will feature a striking “aerofoil” shelter that resembles an arrow pointing towards the desert, providing year-round sun protection. Set within a sophisticated and luxurious community, the marina will offer a premier destination for billionaires to dock their superyachts.

Neom’s press release highlights the stunning “aerofoil” design of Jaumur’s marina, featuring a gravity-defying cantilever that creates an impressive entrance for the world’s largest superyachts. The marina will be a lively hub for yachting enthusiasts, offering entertainment, cultural events, signature retail stores, and world-class dining year-round.

Jaumur will also be home to about 6,000 residents, with 500 apartments and 700 luxury waterfront villas, each with private mooring for small boats. The development will feature green spaces, two luxury hotels with 350 rooms, an international boarding school, and a deep-sea research center for coastal studies.

Jaumur will be built in Saudi Arabia’s Gulf of Aqaba, where much of Neom’s development is located. The marina’s design is by architects Liam Roberts and Terry Mcquillan.
